First Day of School #3

And...today was Natalie's first day of school (this is the last first day of school this year, I promise!).  I'd been talking about her new teacher, Ms. Melanie, a lot to get her used to the idea that she would have a different teacher from last year (Ms. Melanie picked the kids up from the bus stop, so Natalie already knew her).  Natalie was very excited to go, and I just barely remembered to take a picture after the bus had arrived! Not enough time to get her brothers and her together on the step.

When she arrived home, I couldn't see her on the bus since it was a BIG bus with BIG seats and she was all the way in the back row.  But I heard clearly, "HI MOM!" and she kept waving and thanking the bus driver and he drove away.  I look forward to hearing from her teacher, but I think it's safe to say she had a great day.  She was definitely more talkative, and speaking in a more exact way after she came home from school, which I often notice after she's been engaged in conversation.

And she gets to do it again tomorrow!  Go Natalie!
