Grandma Alice, Tom's mom, passed on to glory today. We will miss her so much, but we rejoice that she has no more pain and a strong body again. It's interesting having a child (Lukas) who is old enough to understand a little of what is going on (he was only 3 when my mother passed). We explained to him that now Grandma has really begun to live, but we're still sad that we won't see her anymore. Tonight Konrad prayed that Grandma wouldn't cough anymore when she sucks on ice chips. I know more questions and sadness will come in the weeks to come, and we thank you for your prayers.Married in 1949

I'm just catching up on blogs and am sorry to hear about Tom's mom. Yes, she has moved on to glory and is probably having a huge celebration right now! My heart is with your entire family. Hugs to all of you.
