Signs of summer

Here's Lukas pointing to one of the baby avocados on our tree.  This year is an "off" year (our tree fruits BIG every other year...last year we harvested about 200 avocados) but it looks like there might be a good crop for an off year.

This dove is on her second family this year:  about two days after her two fledglings left the nest, she laid two more eggs!

Here's Natalie with our first tomato harvest!  Is there anything better than home grown tomatoes?  I don't think so!

BTW, Natalie's odd clothing can be explained in two words:  potty training.  Her new incentive to use the potty is that she gets to wear a dress when she goes pee in the toilet.  Instead of completely changing her clothes, I just put the dress on over the clothes she's already wearing.  I think I need to buy more dresses, if this is what it takes to get her to use the toilet!  Go Natalie!

Oh, Avocados!!! Awesome. I've been reading for a while, but this is my first comment. My 4.5 year old son has RTS, although most of his issues are on the milder side (except for this pesky speech delay!). He potty trained with Reece's Pieces - give that boy chocolate and peanut butter, and he'll do almost anything! I think it's great that Natalie wants to wear dresses - she's just darling!!
