Fourth of July

Fourth of July = friends, food, fun and fireworks.  We had so much fun celebrating our country's Independence Day and hope you did too!

It didn't get over 72 degrees at our house on the Fourth of July, so we the water games were cancelled.  Seriously, it was chilly.

But we found plenty of other fun things to do.

Bubbles!

Chasing each other on scooters!

Tasting bubbles...not yummy.

Lots of smiles!

Deep philosophical conversations.

Are you really taking my picture?

More scooter races.

More philosophy?

Food!

So many kids having fun after dinner.

Dessert, of course, requires its own buffet.

Waiting for the sun to go down.

The audience...

...watching...

...Tom light the fuse and dart away. (A few firecrackers had unexpected results.)

Happy Birthday America!  We are so thankful for our freedoms and enjoyed sharing God's blessings with friends.
