After Lukas woke up from his nap, he was a bit grumpy today...if he were a teenager, we'd call it a bad attitude, but since he's two...well, we'll call it a bad attitude anyway. While crying that he didn't want to use the potty, he fell with one arm in the toilet and his face on the bowl. This prompted even more crying, of course.
Took his clothes off, gave him a shower (which quieted him down, because this was only his second shower ever). Then I told him he had a cut on his face, right below his eye, and I had to wash it. He must have asked me 10 times "Is it going to hurt?" I told him it wouldn't hurt, but when he saw me put soap on the warm washcloth, he said, "You're putting soap on it! It's going to hurt!" I made quick work of it, and he wanted to see it again in the mirror. He smiled at himself and I said, "You like it?" He said, "Yeah." I guess he views it as an accessory. It's a good sized welt with a tiny cut in the middle. I got good video of him describing the event, but when I wanted to get a still photo, he refused, so he got a bandaid and the chance to describe it in detail to Tom when he came home.
