Copy cat
Natalie's becoming much better at imitating actions. She will bang on something after we ask her to, she will feed her baby, put her baby to bed, using the actions she sees her therapist do. The one area she doesn't do well at imitating is with signs. She hasn't picked up signs beyond "more" and "high five". She waves very rarely (and very weakly, when she does), and once in a while will imitate peek-a-boo by putting her hands at her ears. She understands signs for "bath", "Daddy", "Mommy", "drink", "eat", "all done", but she doesn't make the signs. It seems like she can imitate actions in front of her, on other objects, but no so much actions that involve her person. I'm sure it will come with time, but it's one area where we'd love to see her grow.
