Tom and Lukas still aren't back from their excellent adventure today (Tom will probably have to blog about it tomorrow) and tonight was bath night.
Usually Tom bathes Lukas and Natalie in the tub and I bathe Konrad in the kitchen sink. (Natalie goes first, then Lukas...they don't bathe together anymore).
But with only one adult at home, I didn't want to bother with different baths, so I put Konrad in the bath with Natalie for the first time. Konrad was ecstatic! His favorite thing to do is crawl into the bathroom and pound on the edge of the bathtub, and tonight he actually got to go in it.
Natalie did her usual stick-head-under-running-water routine, and Konrad was doing the stand-up-sit-down-stand-up-sit-down routine over and over. At one point I turned the water off, and Natalie went to the back of the tub. As soon as I turned the water back on, she clamored over Konrad to get to the faucet again. She HAS TO have the water running over her head!
Sniff. Sniff. No more baby baths in the kitchen sink for Konrad. Oh well, he was trying to climb out of there anyway!
P.S. Several times while typing this post, I misspelled Konrad's name as "Kornad." That reminds me when I was in the hospital after he was born: I was reviewing the birth certificate before it was to be sent to the county and I discovered the secretary had misspelled his name the same way. Can you imagine?!?! Anybody out there actually have a misspelling that made it's way to the official birth certificate?

Tub time can be so much fun. Doesn't Natalie have tubes?...how does the "head under the faucet" help those! I never turn the water on when AnnaKate is in the tub...but I think she would do the same thing.

Yes, Natalie has tubes. We put ear plugs in her ears anytime she's in the bath or pool (you can see the little orange plugs in her ears in the pics). We use the wax plugs that you press in to fill the outer ear.
