My wonderful husband...

...has planted a new kitchen herb garden for me!

I picked out the plants and he gave up his desert area next to the deck.  Basil, chives, parsley, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, thyme...all with a new drip system.

And that's in addition to the tomato and pepper plants that he put in (this is our regular tomato patch).  There are actually tomato plants hidden among the marigolds here.  We planted marigolds to help with the nematode problem we have...hopefully this will work and give us more tomatoes this year.

The jalepeno and serrano pepper plants are here, along with two more tomato plants and a couple marigolds he transplanted.  Salsa in two or three months!
