A better day?

I pray that today is a better day.  Sunday, Dominik had an eye infection.  Lukas had a fever on Monday and Tuesday, Tom and I had sore throats and aches on Tuesday.  Praise God that the other three kids are healthy...and we pray that they stay that way.  Lukas appears to be on the mend (finally no fever Tuesday night), but Tom and I are still icky feeling.  Dominik's eyes are finally responding to the eye drops and clearing up.  Natalie is still having a blast at school and Konrad's using the opportunity of Lukas being sick to be especially irritating to Lukas...brothers!

We're close to being done packing...just a few things that we'll have to pack the night before we leave, and one or two things to pack the morning we leave.  I think we've thought of everything we might need on this trip.

Do you like my ice chest (without ice!) full of pre-measured snacks?  We have re-usable water bottles for our trip (no water bottles rolling around the van) and we shouldn't have to buy snacks or drinks during the trip!  Saving money and time!

Here's Konrad filling the box that formerly held animal crackers, with plastic grocery bags...we're going to have a lot of diapers to change on this trip, and the plastic grocery bags are what we use to throw them away.
