Filling the piggy bank
Lukas was excited to finally sell avocados. Two years ago, we had another bumper crop and Lukas sold a few from our front yard. Of course, anything that Lukas does, Konrad has to do too.
This year we changed the price to "2 for $1" (still a great deal since the avocados are so large) and the boys sold 30 avocados before lunchtime. Konrad was actually less shy than Lukas about saying, "Would you like to buy some avocados?" to strangers who stopped. But I helped Lukas use the right words and learn about serving someone who wants to buy something. So now both boys have a littlespending money more in their piggy banks.
