Discovery

Last week was a busy and stressful week.  Tom took most of the week off from work to plan Mom's memorial service (which was beautiful and quite meaningful for us all).  Friday afternoon after everyone woke up from naps, we went to the Discovery Science Center.  We haven't been there for several years, and it's wonderful to go back and see what has changed and what has stayed the same.  The annual membership is so affordable for our family, and since it's so close, we can go for a few hours on a regular basis.

Natalie was so tickled at the idea of tickling the belly of a dinosaur.

How can you go wrong with Legos?

Konrad went back again and again to drive the Zamboni (which he called a street sweeper).

The Science of Hockey exhibit included a chance for kids to guard the goal from a hockey puck flying at them...Tom captured the hockey puck in this shot of Lukas guarding the goal.

Of course Dominik was there, and had a good time, but there's not much for kids who aren't walking.  Thankfully Dominik was plenty entertained in the stroller.

Natalie and me in the wind tunnel, experiencing 78 mph winds.

We loved it!  And soon we'll be chasing Dominik all through the exhibits too!
