RTS Family Gathering (Or, how we survived the 405)

It wasn't until we were almost out the door to Ted and Yonga's home that I realized we were actually going to be driving on the 405 on Saturday!  Fortunately, they don't live near the closure of the 405 that everyone on the planet seems to know about.  We arrived very easily and had a wonderful time.

As usually I did not capture a picture of everyone who was there.  :(  But here are the few pics I did take.

Sofia loves the fridge alphabet!

Allie is such a great big sister to Riley.

Here is the group shot of the kids (except Allie).  Left to right:  Sofia, Natalie, Riley, Hannah with her sister Olivia.  Back row:  Lukas in a tree, Dominik propped up by Tom, and Konrad.

I had to throw in this picture of the little man, happy with a cookie!

And here is Dominik and Sofia with Sofia's mom, Cassandra.  I guess she's the only adult I took a picture of...there were four families there, so eight adults.

We had a wonderful time!  The kids loved playing in the inflatable pool and eating a lot.  I was quite chagrined to see that night that Dominik got a little sunburned.  What was I thinking, not putting sunscreen on him?  We had such a fun time talking with everyone and look forward to getting together again soon!  The last time we got together with more than one or two families in Southern California was three years ago...someone said something about getting together again next month, which would be great!

Oh so much fun!!! My Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA news was following that road closer... Not that its a 4-5day straight drive from here, and by the time we would get there, it would be done and over with ;-) One day, I will make the trip!
