No training wheels!

A wonderful blessing of Tom's job is that the hours are 9/80, which means he gets every other Friday off.  We usually use those Fridays to do special things that others do on Saturdays, but we get fewer crowds.  This works great for a homeschooling family, too...but Natalie is in public school, so we have to balance her school schedule with the rest of the family.

So this morning while Natalie went to school, the rest of us went back to Mile Square Park for a morning of bike riding for the boys.  Last weekend, we all went to Mile Square Park to try Konrad without training wheels, and he did great!  But we forgot the camera, so it was nice to re-enact the scene to have pictures and blog about it.  Konrad is 3 years and 10 months old and he does great without training wheels...he doesn't have confidence starting himself on the bike, but once he's going, he's a natural.

I slept in this morning (6:15 a.m.) and didn't go running, so my workout was carrying Dominik around the park (we probably went 2 miles).  It definitely reminds me to consider how much easier everything would be if I were 25 pounds lighter!
