Happy Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome Day

Natalie was born with RTS and July 3 is the day for us to "be aware" of Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome.  So here she is, making you aware of RTS!  We don't think about RTS as much as we used to...it's just part of our daily lives, sort of like being human is part of our daily lives.  But for those who don't have a special needs family member, here's a good reminder of the joy that they bring!

Here's Natalie's "best" pose from our RTS Day photo shoot...almost the last one (I quit when I was ahead!)

Generally it's hard to get a picture of Natalie facing the camera...here are the ones that turned out well.  She was all showered up after a swimming lesson (good way to celebrate RTS Day, don't you think?) and in a new dress, with painted toenails.

Ok, she did look at the camera a few times!

Natalie is signing "happy."  If you ask her, she will definitely say "I am happy!" loudly and with great expression.  But the sign is cute too.
