Vacation schedule

No therapy, no school, no homeschool...we got to stay home today!  No running around, no kids in and out of car seats...just blissful staying at home where nothing is rushed and there can be lots of playing with Legos and Christmas music.  And the kids got to see the street sweeper this morning, which was a treat we usually miss because we're at Natalie's therapy.

So I actually wrapped up a few loose ends, finished laundry for the day before lunch, and baked a gingerbread house.  Lukas had fun decorating it while Natalie and Konrad napped.  I still don't know where to keep it, since Natalie and Konrad both have been known to climb onto the table, and it's a very tempting thing to look at.

Did I mention I love it when we get to stay at home?

Ahh. How wonderful. We moved our gingerbread house a few times and finally settled on the top of the fridge. Addie wakes up every morning searching it out. They get to deconstruct it and nibble on a bit of it on New Year's day before I put it in its final resting place.

Enjoy!
